Today is reserved for trek preparation and briefing. Your guide will check your trekking equipment and explain the itinerary, safety procedures, and arrangements for the Everest region.

Take an early morning scenic flight toward Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. After meeting the local trekking crew, begin walking through the Dudh Koshi Valley.
The trail descends gently from Lukla before following the river toward Phakding.

- Final altitude: 2,610 m

The original itinerary gives approximately 3 hours of walking and an altitude of 2,610 m for Phakding.
Continue north along the Dudh Koshi River. The trail passes through beautiful pine forests and crosses several suspension bridges.
Gradually climb toward Monjo, the entrance area to Sagarmatha National Park.

Today is one of the more demanding sections as the trail climbs toward Namche Bazaar, the main trading and cultural center of the Khumbu.
Cross suspension bridges and follow the Dudh Koshi before beginning the steep climb to Namche. Along the way, you may get your first glimpses of Everest and Thamserku.
After arriving, explore the famous amphitheater-shaped town.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization.
Take a short hike above Namche toward the Syangboche area for panoramic mountain views. You can also explore Namche Bazaar, visit the local market, and enjoy the Sherpa culture.
The goal is to gain some altitude during the day while returning to Namche for the night.

- Final altitude: 3,440 m

The original itinerary specifically includes an acclimatization day in Namche with an optional higher walk toward Syangboche.
Leave Namche and walk through beautiful Himalayan Forest toward Kunde and Khumjung.
This section provides some of the first broad views of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Depending on opening times, there may be an opportunity to visit the Hillary school and local community sites.

- Final altitude: Approximately 3,780 m

Continue gradually higher into the Khumbu Valley. The trail passes through beautiful landscapes with increasingly impressive views of the Himalayan peaks.
This is intentionally a steady day to support acclimatization.

- Final altitude: Approximately 3,860 m

Today you trek through spectacular mountain scenery toward Tengboche.
The route crosses the Dudh Koshi and passes beneath Thamserku and Kangtega before descending toward the Imja Khola. Continue to Tengboche, dominated by its famous Buddhist monastery and surrounded by dramatic views of Ama Dablam.

- Final altitude: Approximately 3,860 m

After visiting Tengboche and enjoying the mountain views, begin descending through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests.
The trail eventually reconnects with the route to Namche. Enjoy your final views of the spectacular Khumbu peaks.

- Final altitude: 3,440 m

Continue descending through the Dudh Koshi Valley.
The trail follows the same route toward Monjo and Phakding, with the lower altitude making breathing easier. Take your time on the downhill sections.

- Final altitude: Approximately 2,850 m

Today is your final trekking day.
Follow the Dudh Koshi back toward Lukla, passing through small Sherpa settlements and forests. Arrive in Lukla and celebrate the completion of your Everest Panorama Trek.

- Final altitude: 2,610 m

Take the morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, weather and flight conditions permitting.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for rest, shopping or sightseeing.

This is a flexible day kept as a weather and flight contingency day. It is especially useful because flights to and from Lukla can be affected by mountain weather.
